A recent addition to our newsletter is our Metaverse Liveliness Index.

It gives us an idea of public interest in the metaverse and how relevant it is at this moment in time.

In the coming weeks we will post an article explaining the index in depth.

This week we had a minor increase in the value of the index. Since we round to the nearest whole number this wasn’t enough to cause a point change.

ETFs saw a change of virtually 0% while tokens took a hit. Trends however saw a bit of a jump and helped carry the value to be positive.

Up this week we have Motion Capture Systems (mocap).

These systems record the physical actions of players and have virtual characters mirror them.

Take a step forward while on an onidirectional treadmill or stretch in your VR suit and have your digital character do the same.

Mocap technologies will collectively work to deliver a fully immersive and realistic experience in the metaverse.

Feel the Impulse With Haptic Suits.

Haptic (or VR) Suits are one of the most high-end and fully immersive technologies on the market.

These suits range from the sleek, premium models such as the TeslaSuit to a newcomer in the space the ExitSuit.

This week we’ll take a look at these two and some others to discuss their benefits and our experiences with them.

The TeslaSuit is better for commercial purposes or the wealthy consumer. The ExitSuit takes on a completely new and interesting approach.

The designer of the suit provides the design blueprints and instructions, allowing you to build it yourself. The first applicants to get the blueprints received them as “Golden Tickets”.

Running, climbing, and even flight are possible with the ExitSuit. Watch a video of it here and listen to its designer talk about it here. You’ll see why its going viral.

The TeslaSuit can even let you experience pain with electric shocks. See a video review here.

Our speakers had their own input on these technologies and their experiences with them.

One isn’t a fan of blocking his situational awareness but is excited for these technologies and what they promise.

However, he does love availability to the masses and the ExitSuit delivers that.

Another speaker loves the tech and has even tried the TeslaSuit. While the experience was phenomenal, its price holds many back.

He does however own a RokokoSuit and finds it to be an excellent, more affordable alternative.

However, they do see another major issue with these suits. Sizing.

This will obviously vary greatly from person to person so sharing with friends or finding your size at a convention may be difficult.

One of our founders even shared in with his experiences.

Listen to the whole conversation above.
