An addition to our newsletter is our Metaverse Liveliness Index.
It gives us an idea of public interest in the metaverse and how relevant it is at this moment in time.
We will publish a full length article explaining the breakdown and calculation soon.
This week we calculated an increase in the index of approximately half a point. Due to rounding we are still at a total value of 25.
Across the board indices of both stocks and tokens fell, but trends saw a significant increase of 5.50%.

This week we are touching on Virtual Worlds.
Just like the name implies they are simulated environments with interactive elements that can be programmed for virtually infinite use cases.
From recreating historical events and speaking to avatars of those present to reliving a day in the life of a citizen in Ancient Rome, possibilities are limited to imagination.

In Person, Virtual Learning. The New Norm?
Classrooms are steadily becoming more digitized.
Classwork and homework has shifted to a paperless system and education professionals are looking to the next big step for the classroom.
PwC released a report stating 40% of VR learners are more confident in applying what they’ve learned along with being 150% more engaged in the classroom.
Immersive technologies can turn lessons into bite-sized experiences for more conceptual and native learning experiences.
They bring history to life, allowing students to witness events and gamify learning to make abstract concepts more graspable.

All pros have their cons as well.
Beyond K-12 education those in universities and other higher education programs can benefit themselves.
Regardless of age, education level, or role as student/teacher, immersive technologies have found a permanent place in the education system and are set to grow more.

The metaverse is poised to revolutionize education and remote learning.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, remote learning has become much more common and is seen as a more viable alternative to traditional in-classroom methods.
Teachers will be able to host lessons in a full virtual classroom, have the same interactions as they would in person, and allow for a more natural feeling in the lessons.
Aside from grade school teachers or private tutors using the technology, professionals can harness it for training as well.
Medical students especially will benefit being able to practice procedures in a realistic environment with no risk.
